this month's nmnm is from april 15 2012 in evanston, il.- a great listening space with good food in front, recording studio in back & "the space" for shows in-between- they had a nice grand piano so i camped out on it more than usual- you may notice that some songs get repeated in a number of nmnm shows (this one: you'll never leave harlan alive and wayfaring pilgrim) my point in such repetition is to present the differences in sameness- that each time is differnt -( it has to be) - i am a living, changing being who is not trying to ape my recordings from town to town - leave that to trained monkies and eagles- to me, each time is different (spose to be) - like some cultures have 40 different words for snow...
